The Mountain State Fair In our Back Yard...Share Your Experiences and Tips

Hello Southchase Neighbors!  It is that time of year again, for the Mountain State Fair!  As you know, the fair is virtually within walking distance from our neighborhood, at the Ag Center and will take place from Sept 9-18th.

Parking for the fair appears to be in the same locations, first at gate 6 off Hwy 280 and then 1 mile south of gate 6 (follow signs) for satellite parking and free bus every 10-15 minutes.  The fair runs from 9am-midnight on Friday and Saturday, then on Sunday from 9am to 11pm.  During the week the hours are from 3pm until 11 pm.

The scheduled events are listed on the main website for the fair and it looks like they have a packed schedule of some really fun shows and events.  If you have any tips for your neighbors on the best day to attend, optimal parking, top foods, and best events then please share!
